A Global TeleSummit on Peace
Self-Realization Fellowship's Brother Anilananda, minister-in-charge of the SRF Temple in Hollywood founded by Paramahansa Yogananda in 1942, will be one of the featured speakers during 2011, which will take place from September 15-21. PeaceWeek brings together "peace-builders" from around the world — from Nigeria to India — for what has been described as the largest global telesummit for building a culture of peace, culminating with the International Day of Peace on September 21. Some 52 speakers from the fields of religion, science, government, and the arts will lead sessions, ranging from Pulitzer Prize-winning author Alice Walker (The Color Purple) to internationally renowned psychologist and author Daniel Goleman.
During his presentation, which will focus on Cultivating Inner Peace, Brother Anilananda will explore Paramahansa Yogananda's groundbreaking teachings on the real meaning of peace, the definite techniques for developing lasting peace in today's challenging world, and the impact that one's inner peace has on the world at large. Brother Anilananda's session will take place on Monday, September 19, from 8:30 a.m.— 9 a.m. (Pacific Time).
